We are seeking a Senior Manual QA Engineer with 4+ years of commercial experience as Manual QA.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience as Manual QA
- Experience testing Web applications: front-end UI and back-end application servers, and services
- Knowledge in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, & HTTP/HTTPS
- Experience with performance testing
- Experience in testing specifications
- Good knowledge of SQL: experience querying SQL databases to verify test results
- Experience in using JIRA, Confluence, TestRail
- Good understanding of the product lifecycle and the parties involved
Pluses
- Experience testing mobile applications: Android / iOS
Job Duties
- Responsible for the testing of SaaS based applications and corresponding component based web services within an Agile development lifecycle.
- Expert knowledge of at least one application discipline, along with the ability to rapidly learn new technologies based on business needs.
- Sound analytic skills to deal with requirements and/or issues that may be loosely defined and the ability to further manipulate and expand on them.
- Build relationships with peers and other teams to achieve objectives, maintain objectivity, and give and welcome feedback on design/implementation decisions.
